Indian Mound Scout Reservation (IMR) is located In Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, about 30 miles west of Milwaukee. Named for the Indian mound near the dining hall, IMR is set on the southern shores of Silver Lake, just north of Interstate 94.

Our location just off the interstate makes IMR a convenient place for meetings, retreats, ceremonies, reunions-just about anything you can think of!

COPE at Indian Mound

Indian Mound Scout Reservation features a multi-element COPE course! COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) is a team-building course for small groups and teams to enhance self-seteem, build cooperation and increase communication.
The COPE course can be rented by Scouting units and outside groups. Dates and times are based on instructor availability.

Summer Camp Programs

IMR is the perfect place for Cub Scout camping! From archery and BB guns to swimming and sports, IMR has it all during summer!
  • Weekend Camps run Friday evening through Sunday morning and are open to the ENTIRE FAMILY!
  • Resident Camp is a long-term camp for Wolf, Bear and Webelos Scouts. Attend with a parent, or come as an entire den!

About Indian Mound Scout Reservation

Indian Mound Scout Reservation is divided into two parts: Camp Doerr and Camp Lazynski. Camp Doerr features the Adventure World Cub Scout camp program areas, including the L.S. Gratz Land Ship, the James A. Merry Castle and the Layden Mining Company Mine, which includes a gold panning stream! Camp Doerr also features ten cabins for year-round camping, a fire bowl with bench seating, and a 250-seat dining hall.
Camp Lazynski is located on the western side of the property, and features multiple campsites for tent camping. Camp Lazynski also features a chapel pole barn, a permanent picnic sheter with a large capacity and spacious fields for sports and games.  The northwestern corner of the property features the winter sports area, including three Adirondak shelters and a giant sledding hill.
Indian Mound Scout Reservation was established in 1917 and is one of the longest-running Boy Scout camps in the USA.
